Frequently
Asked

What is included in the registration fee?

The $1,500 registration fee covers your full scientific programme access and CME credits. Accommodation, meals, safaris, and activities are covered separately through your chosen package.

Can I bring a partner?

Absolutely. Partners are warmly welcome and can participate in all social, dining, and safari activities. Please enquire for partner pricing.

How do the payment instalments work?

Your place is secured with a 30% deposit. The remaining balance is split into two further payments at agreed intervals leading up to the event.

Can you assist with flights?

Yes — we work with a dedicated travel agent who can assist with flight bookings to Nairobi and onward connections to the Masai Mara. Please contact us for details.

What CME credits will be available?

The programme is being structured to offer CME/CPD credits. Full accreditation details will be confirmed and communicated to all registered delegates.

What is the Great Migration?

August is prime time for the Great Wildebeest Migration — over 1.5 million animals crossing the Mara River, considered the greatest wildlife spectacle on Earth.

Tell me about the Gorilla Trek extension.

The optional Gorilla Trek extension runs August 20–24. Following an overnight in Kenya, you will fly to Rwanda and stay 3 nights at the One&Only Gorillas Nest, a five-star lodge on the edge of Volcanoes National Park. The centrepiece is a guided mountain gorilla trek — an intimate encounter with one of the world's most endangered species. Gorilla trekking permits are strictly limited so please express your interest as early as possible.

Is the Gorilla Trek suitable for families?

The Gorilla Trek is a wonderful experience for families and couples alike. Children must be 15 or older to participate in the gorilla trek itself, though the One&Only Gorillas Nest offers exceptional activities for all ages. Please enquire for family-specific arrangements.

What should I pack?

Neutral-coloured clothing is recommended for game drives. Evenings can be cooler — light layers are advised. A full packing guide will be provided upon registration.

Is travel insurance required?

Comprehensive travel and medical insurance is strongly recommended for all delegates and partners. Our travel agent can provide guidance on appropriate cover.
